Unlike The Witcher 3’s dialogue-heavy, choice-driven narrative, ELDEN RING’s story is cryptic, revealed through item descriptions, NPC dialogue, and environmental storytelling. Critics (IGN) praised the expansion’s dense 20-25 hour narrative, but some players (Reddit) felt it requires prior base game knowledge. Compared to ARK, it’s deeper but equally enigmatic.
